I've tried really hard to be a regularly posting blogger. But while I'm not quite the perfect blogger, I am good at is celebrating my library's 125th anniversary with our incredible staff!
I'm good at running my local farmers' market and documenting it with photos.
I'm good at enjoying the fair with family.
I'm good at helping to host our annual block party.
And I'm good at reading and enjoying picture books about narwhals and unicorns in between, even if I don't manage to post about them as regularly as I should.
So even though it's been a few months since my last post, I am thoroughly excited to share Not Quite Narwhal written and illustrated by Jessie Sima!
Kelp is different from the other narwhals, but he really doesn't give it much thought until one day he's swept towards shore. As he swims closer, he sees a creature that looks just like him and sets out to investigate. He soon discovers he is a unicorn, learns all about unicorns during his visit, but at the same time, misses his narwhal friends.
