Children's Author Aileen Stewart lives in Shelby, Ohio with her daughter, husband, and three crazy cats. If you see her in her yard weeding the flowerbed, around town, or tending the little free library, be sure to say hello.

Aileen adores writing children's books about farm animals because her childhood friend lived on a farm which was a magical place to visit. The farm fostered her love of chickens and gathering eggs, but no character is out of bounds for future books.

Aileen has many loves besides writing which include managing the local Farmers' Market during summer months, volunteering as the President of the Board of Trustees at her local library, traveling, bird-watching, and baking. She also loves to craft, play board games, attend auctions, take photographs, share book reviews, and flower garden.
